Terms of Service

1. The service

Tandem is a mobile app for couples: a weekly private check-in (Weekly Reset), a shared milestone canvas for goals and to-dos, and a private vault for memories and appreciations. It's designed to be used by two people who've linked their accounts together as a couple.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Tandem account. You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away at hello@tandemapp.love if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Tandem Premium is an auto-renewing subscription purchased through the App Store or Google Play, unlocking full reset history, unlimited shared projects, the full vault, and curated date-night suggestions for both partners in a couple.

• Length — Tandem Premium renews monthly unless canceled.
• Price — shown at the time of purchase in the app, and on our pricing page. Pricing is set by the App Store or Google Play and may vary by region or currency.
• Auto-renewal — your subscription automatically renews for the same length and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your payment method will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
• One subscription, one couple — a single subscription unlocks Premium for both partners in a couple; either partner may purchase it.
• Managing or canceling — subscriptions are managed entirely through the App Store or Google Play, not through Tandem directly. See our account page for direct links to each store's subscription management screen. Turn off auto-renewal any time from your device's account settings, at least 24 hours before the renewal date, to avoid being charged for the next period.
• Refunds — refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their own refund policies; we're not able to issue refunds directly.

4. Your content

You own what you create in Tandem — your reset answers, tasks, vault entries, and photos. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit that content solely to operate the app (for example, syncing it to your partner's device). We don't use your content for advertising, and we don't sell it.

Don't use Tandem to upload content that's illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or that you don't have the right to share.

5. Termination

You can stop using Tandem and delete your account at any time (see our account deletion page). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to Tandem or other users.

6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Tandem is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tandem and its team aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
